The municipal initiative, taking place at the multi-purpose facility on San Juan Street, provides basic training in pattern making, cutting, and sewing. The main goal is to empower participants to be able to make a variety of garments, from skirts to jackets and dresses.
The workshop, which began in February, is scheduled to run until next June. Attendees have shown great motivation and enthusiasm for acquiring these new skills, a fact highlighted by the person responsible for delivering the training.
“"The proposal started in February and will continue until next June. Around a dozen local women are actively participating in the course, where they are being offered basic training in pattern making, cutting, and sewing, with the aim of enabling them to make their own garments."
These types of programs aim to foster personal development and autonomy among citizens, offering practical tools that can have a direct impact on their daily lives and household economy.
