The operation began after a 112 alert was received regarding the disappearance of a person with medical issues in the Ribera Alta area of Gaucín. According to the Civil Guard's statement, the man had left his home around 10:00 AM and had not returned, prompting his family to report him missing.
An extensive search operation was launched, involving personnel from the Civil Guard of Ronda and Marbella, a Civil Guard UHEL helicopter, local police officers from Casares and Gaucín, and volunteers. The individual was located at 8:15 PM, approximately 500 meters from his residence.
“"A person missing since April 7 in the town of Gaucín (Málaga) has been found in good condition. After activating a large search operation with a helicopter, agents, and volunteers, we found him just 500 meters from his home."
The man was found in good health and did not require medical assistance, thus concluding the search operation that had kept the community of Gaucín on edge.
