The incident occurred around 12:45 PM at kilometer 37 of the road, near Venta del Abogado, heading towards Cuevas del Becerro. The 112 emergency service received multiple alerts about the incident.
Immediately, the Provincial Fire Consortium (CPB) of Málaga, the Traffic Civil Guard, and health services were mobilized. A CPB unit from Ronda arrived at the scene of the accident, which involved two vehicles.
According to firefighters, the driver and sole occupant of one of the cars was unharmed. However, the other vehicle, carrying four occupants, overturned after the impact, leaving all four injured. They were already out of the car when rescue teams arrived.
Three of the injured were transported to the hospital by ambulance, while the fourth was evacuated by helicopter. Among those affected were a 48-year-old person and two women, one of whom is 53 years old, all taken to the Hospital de la Serranía de Ronda. Firefighters carried out preventive tasks and collaborated with medical personnel and the tow truck service.
