This crucial document for Cartajima's urban planning was delivered by Nieves Atencia, Deputy for Development and Infrastructure, to Isabel María Jiménez, the mayor of the municipality. The drafting was carried out by the Architecture and Planning Service of the provincial institution, within the framework of assistance and cooperation plans.
The PBOM Advance represents a key initial stage, as it includes a comprehensive territorial diagnosis, planning criteria, and preliminary proposals that will guide the future growth of the locality. Its preparation involved consultations with various competent administrations and conducting surveys and meetings with both residents and the local government team.
The Cartajima town hall will now begin a process of analysis, participation, and public consultation. This period will allow for the incorporation of new contributions from both institutions and citizens before the final drafting of the plan. To facilitate this process, the Architecture and Planning Service of the Malaga Provincial Council has launched a specific website. From this platform, interested parties can check the status of the PBOM processing and access the documents that comprise the plan. This digital tool, accessible from the Cartajima Town Hall website, makes this municipality the first in the province to offer such a service.
