The project, driven by Rooral and co-financed by the ESF+ through the Empleaverde+ Program of the Biodiversity Foundation, has allowed participants to experience rural life and draw inspiration from local initiatives to develop business models.
‘Relevo Rural’ focuses on five lines of action: specialized training for unemployed individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations, support for businesses seeking successors, territorial immersion, hands-on learning within a network, and mentoring for new ideas.
During their stay in Benarrabá, attendees visited various local businesses and entrepreneurs, including artisans, projects focused on processing raw materials, and tourism initiatives.
The program's main goals are to retain and attract population, ensure the continuity of rural businesses and traditional crafts, stimulate entrepreneurship, create employment, and modernize rural enterprises through the circular economy and innovation.
