The 4th Solidarity March for Diabetes will be the main event of the day organized by the Almería Diabetes Association (ADIAL), taking place on Sunday, November 8th, at the Palacio de Deportes Ciudad de Vícar. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the impact of the condition and promote early prevention, diagnosis, and management.
The mayor of Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, emphasized the importance of early action, noting that "symptoms of type 2 diabetes can be mild and go unnoticed for years," and for many, the first sign is a serious complication.
Registration for the solidarity march costs five euros and can be done by calling 633458010 and 615392017. Additionally, in a show of support, the facade of the Vícar City Council will be illuminated in blue from November 8th to 14th to raise awareness about the disease.
These initiatives aim to improve the well-being of people affected by diabetes. For his closeness and commitment, ADIAL has recognized Mayor Antonio Bonilla.
