The Vícar City Council is proceeding with the installation of new children's play areas in various locations along the Bulevar Ciudad de Vícar. Mayor Antonio Bonilla announced the initiative, which coincides with the installation of the first new playgrounds. The municipal objective is to enhance the safety, accessibility, functionality, and appeal of these recreational spaces by replacing and renewing existing elements for the general enjoyment of children.
The project includes the installation of safety flooring made of rubber tiles, as well as the placement of new children's games and play elements of various types, such as rockers, spring riders, swings, slides, interactive panels, inclusive elements, and themed games.
The work on the boulevard is being carried out by technicians from Parques Infantiles del Levante, S.L., the company awarded the contract. The Councilor for Childhood, Gracia Montoro, emphasized the importance of these facilities for the entertainment of the municipality's children, stating that the action aims to improve the functionality and safety conditions of spaces that had shown wear and tear over time due to intensive use.
