The presentation took place at the local headquarters of the Humanitarians Without Borders Association in Vícar, and was attended by Rosana Gómez Movellán, coordinator of the Technical Cabinet of the Undersecretariat of Health; Almudena Jiménez, councilor for Social Services in Vícar; and Hanane El Mansouri, president of the association.
‘Tardes con Plan’ is an direct intervention program outside of school hours designed to address current challenges such as hyperconnectivity, the impact of technological revolution, climate change, and mental health issues among young people. The program promotes healthy lifestyles, encouraging balanced nutrition, rest, physical activity, and emotional well-being through constructive leisure and the discovery of participants' hidden talents, especially in contexts of greater vulnerability.
The project will be structured in two phases: the first will focus on the educational sphere with the participation of CEIP La Canal and CEIP Virgen de la Paz, and the second will aim to consolidate a network of social agents from the municipality. Rosana Gómez Movellán called on third-sector and local entities to join similar future initiatives.
Councilor Almudena Jiménez congratulated Humanitarios Sin Fronteras and highlighted the importance of inter-institutional and community cooperation, noting the success of the ERACIS+ program in the municipality.
This action, promoted by the ERACIS+ Vícar team, is part of the Local Social Inclusion Plan created by the Ayuntamiento de Vícar, co-financed by the European Union and the Junta de Andalucía.
