The mayor of Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, presided over the official presentation of the program at the facilities of the Road Safety Education Center. He was accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Childhood, and Youth, Gracia Montoro; the Head of the Local Police, José Tomás Zamora; the Councilor for Citizen Security, Evaristo López; the Councilor for Traffic and Mobility, José Luis Leseduarte; and the program coordinator, Miguel Ángel Fernández.
This municipal initiative, now in its 21st year, has established itself as a benchmark for safety culture in Vícar. Each year, over three thousand students from Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary, and Vocational Training participate in its courses. The experience extends to other municipalities in the province through visits from educational centers.
In addition to the school community, the program includes specific sessions aimed at other groups such as senior citizens, pregnant women, and migrants, thereby broadening its reach and impact.
