The meeting took place at the municipal administrative building, with members of the municipal government team also in attendance. The mayor used Góngora's official visit to convey urgent matters for Vícar.
Among the most pressing needs highlighted was the construction of the third institute in Las Cabañuelas. The City Council reiterated its offer to cede a plot of land on the Bulevar de La Paz, near the planned location for the new Civil Guard Barracks.
In the educational sphere, discussions also included the future expansion of the Saint Sylvain D’Anjou CEIP and the construction of a Nursery School and an Infant and Primary Education School in La Envía.
Furthermore, crucial needs for Vícar's agricultural sector were addressed, such as the construction of the Treatment Plants in Villa de Vícar and La Envía, alongside territorial planning issues aimed at improving citizens' daily lives.
For his part, Francisco Góngora expressed the full commitment of the Junta de Andalucía to promote development projects. He highlighted previous actions, such as the new health center in Las Cabañuelas Bajas, co-financed, and improvements to health centers totaling 1.7 million euros, as well as employment plans and educational facility upgrades.
The delegate emphasized "the impetus given to this municipality by the Andalusian Government, and its intention to continue working to resolve the needs of Vícar's residents."
Mayor Antonio Bonilla expressed satisfaction with the meeting, expressing confidence that this new phase will strengthen institutional cooperation and advance the local executive's requested measures.
