The town of Roquetas de Mar was filled with life and color during the recent White Night event, organized by the City Council through the Commerce Department and in collaboration with the Almería Chamber of Commerce. The initiative attracted thousands of residents and visitors, who enjoyed a wide array of cultural and entertainment offerings.
From early afternoon, various locations in the municipality became activity hubs. The Paseo de los Baños featured traditional wooden games and storytelling sessions, while Plaza Calipso hosted creative children's workshops. The Plaza Julián Arcas and the Anfiteatro del Parque de Los Bajos came alive with performances by local dance academies and groups.
Pedestrian streets and the area around Calle Real were filled with animation, featuring a large themed parade and itinerant shows. Avenida Juan Carlos I hosted magic shows and musical performances. One of the highlights took place at the Plaza de la Constitución, with an impressive fire, music, and performance spectacle.
The Explanda de la Plaza de Toros also offered family-oriented activities, including a creative zone, dance exhibitions, and the closing show. The program will continue on Saturday with entertainment in various market squares, workshops, children's shows, and family activities in El Parador, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, and Las Marinas.
