The leadership of the Popular Party in Adra detailed this Saturday the actions and programs promoted by the Andalusian Government in the city. According to the party, these investments have significantly contributed to local development and improved the quality of life for citizens.
“"The residents of Adra benefit from a government that has demonstrated its serious commitment through the promotion of crucial works."
The president of the Abderitan PP emphasized the importance of these investments and noted that the upcoming Andalusian elections on May 17 will be key to deciding whether to continue on the path of progress or opt for "experiments" that could hinder the city's advancement. For his part, the mayor of Adra highlighted the investment effort, stating that the locality has gone from being a secondary place in regional planning to a real priority.
Investments have focused on key areas such as Agriculture and Water, with over 17 million euros allocated to projects like the purification of La Alcazaba and Guainos Bajos, the regeneration of the Adra River, and aid for modernizing greenhouses. In Environment, 1.7 million has been mobilized for the Punto Limpio and the improvement of the Albuferas.
The transformation of the Port of Adra has received over eleven million euros, including the construction of a pedestrian walkway, the Gourmet Pier, new fishing warehouses, and the imminent repair of the Poniente breakwater. Additionally, strengthening the social safety net has involved an investment close to 15 million euros. In Education, over six million have been invested in works at centers such as CEIP 'Nueva Andalucía-La Curva' and CEIP 'Mare Nostrum'. Finally, in employment and commerce, 2.6 million have been allocated, creating job opportunities for over 200 Adra residents.
The popular leaders have advocated for a model of stability and growth against political confrontation, asserting the commitment to water and moderate management. They concluded that on May 17, citizens must choose between stability and growth or uncertainty, supporting the management of the Junta de Andalucía with the results achieved in infrastructure and services.
