This initiative, driven by the Roquetas de Mar City Council, seeks to promote sustainable practices among citizens, particularly young people and families. Nacho Dean, author of two books and an international speaker, covered various topics focused on daily interaction with nature and adopting more environmentally friendly routines.
As part of this campaign, a beach clean-up day with Nacho Dean is scheduled for May 21. This activity is free and open to all citizens and educational centers interested in contributing to the care of the Roquetas coastline.
This action is part of the Destination Tourist Sustainability Plan and is directly linked to the implementation of a selective collection system on the municipality's six urban beaches. A total of 42 eco-points, made from recycled plastic, will be installed to facilitate waste separation in these areas.
