Mayor Antonio Bonilla, accompanied by councilwomen Francisca Hernández and Gracia Montoro, presided over the diploma ceremony for the final group of 40 minors. This event signifies the closure of the summer season at the municipal facilities.
Throughout the summer months, the pool hosted 200 children divided into three shifts. Additionally, classes were provided for four groups of seniors over 65 years old, with activities running through July and August.
The intensive swimming courses are consolidating as one of the most in-demand activities, enabling hundreds of youngsters to learn or improve their aquatic skills, serving as a continuation of the autumn and winter classes.
The Vícar Municipal Pool is now preparing for the new school year, offering classes for all ages. The appointment request period for course registration will begin on Monday, August 31st, via the Town Hall website. Final enrollment will be completed in person.
The 2026-2027 academic year for swimming, aquasport, and back school will commence on October 1st.
