Representatives from the La Mojonera town council attended the XIX Congress of the Association of Chiefs and Directors of Local Police of Andalusia (AJDEPLA), held in the province of Almería. This technical and professional gathering brought together municipal authorities, police commanders, and security experts from across the autonomous community.
During the meeting, key issues related to the evolution of citizen security models, the application of new regulations, and the improvement of inter-administrative coordination were addressed. These aspects are fundamental for advancing towards more effective, accessible management tailored to the current needs of Andalusian municipalities.
“"Security is a fundamental pillar in the quality of life of our residents, and meetings like this allow us to continue advancing in coordination, innovation, and efficiency, with the aim of offering the best possible service from our Local Police forces."
The council's participation in this forum underscores its dedication to the continuous improvement of public services and the modernization of Local Police forces, recognizing them as vital elements for the protection and well-being of citizens. The importance of such forums for exchanging experiences and establishing collaboration lines between municipalities was highlighted, strengthening cooperation with other administrations and entities in security and public management.
This initiative aligns with the strategy of La Mojonera's governing team, which seeks to enhance the resources, training, and coordination of its security forces. The objective is to consolidate a safer, more prepared, and better-connected municipality model within the Andalusian territory, solidifying La Mojonera's active role in the regional institutional sphere.
