Among the most significant agreements, the contracting process for beach equipment supply for the 2026 summer season has been approved, with a budget of 146,570 euros. This includes the installation of four shade pergolas with platforms, 350 linear meters of articulated wooden walkways of varying widths, a two-cabin toilet module, 18 sets of flags indicating sea conditions, buoyage material, and an adapted bathing area with comprehensive installation, maintenance, and dismantling services. The acquisition of two quad-type vehicles adapted for police use is also contemplated.
In terms of security, the contracting process for the supply of a transformed and equipped van for the Local Police has also been approved, with a base bidding budget of 78,650 euros. This action responds to the increase in staff and the consolidation of the third Operational Support and Prevention Group (GOAP), which now comprises 21 members. Additionally, a renting contract for two SUV-type vehicles for the Local Police has been awarded, for a duration of four years and an annual budget of 40,656 euros, thereby reinforcing the operational capacity of the force.
Administrative modernization was also a key point, with the award of a server supply contract for the expansion of the Data Processing Center (CPD), as well as a contract for Microsoft Server Standard Core software licenses for a three-year period, awarded to the company IZERTIS S.A. for a total amount of 195,005 euros.
In the cultural section, the third phase of sponsorship contracts for the 49th Theater Festival has been authorized, with an investment of 11,577 euros and the collaboration of six companies. The festival, to be held in May, will feature a broad program including theatrical productions, children's shows, training activities, and street theater proposals. Furthermore, the organization of meetings and book signings with prominent authors has been approved within the framework of the XVII Book Fair, which will take place in the Plaza Mayor during April, featuring Juan del Val and Javier Sierra on the 15th, Ángela Banzas and Pedro Mañas alongside David Sierra on the 17th, and concluding on April 18th with Vicente Vallés, Luz Gabás, and Alina Not.
Finally, the DUE Board of Directors has approved the award of water meter supply, new contracts for high-voltage facility maintenance, and services associated with the vehicle fleet. Contract modifications have also been approved, entailing a 20% increase in various services, including masonry work for water supply and sanitation networks, with an annual total of 139,150 euros. This also includes the supply of tools and small machinery, amounting to 73,962 euros annually, and hot asphalt paving work for repairing network breakdowns, with an annual total of 59,895 euros.
