This strategy aims to promote health, prevention, and social participation in the municipality. Recently, the Dalías Motor Group met at the town hall to review the document, identifying the needs, weaknesses, and threats, as well as the strengths and opportunities of the locality. This collaborative work has resulted in a strategic plan that will be the pillar of the future framework for local health action.
The Motor Group is composed of volunteers, representatives of associations and groups from the municipality, along with members of the municipal government team. Their joint work has allowed for the drafting of a consensus document that will soon be presented to the plenary for its final approval and subsequent implementation.
“"It is essential to have a useful and realistic tool that allows us to continue building a healthier, more inclusive municipality committed to the well-being of all residents."
The 1st Local Health Plan is part of the Local Health Action Network of the Junta de Andalucía and has the support of the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs and the Poniente de Almería Health District. This inter-institutional collaboration promotes citizen participation and cross-cutting work among administrations, associations, and social agents.
The City Council remains committed to policies that promote healthy lifestyles, emotional well-being, sports practice, coexistence, respect for the environment, and the promotion of healthy gastronomy, consolidating Dalías as a municipality dedicated to community health and sustainable development.
