The fair will kick off on Friday, September 25th at 1:00 PM with the opening ceremony, attended by authorities such as Trinidad Herrera Lorente, Territorial Delegate for Sustainability, Environment, and Blue Economy of the Junta de Andalucía, and Antonio Mancilla Mancilla, Vice-President of the Provincial Council of Granada. Following the official opening of the fairgrounds and a visit to the stands, attendees can enjoy a wine tasting at 2:45 PM at the entrance of the football field. The day will also include a visit from the mascot Aranito and a simulated ferret hunting exhibition.
On Saturday, September 26th, the fairgrounds will open at 10:00 AM. The morning will feature the Pointing Dog Contest without killing, part of the III Provincial Council Cup, held at the Shooting Range. An Introduction to Falconry Course and a live Mural Painting with a hunting theme will also be offered. Exhibitions of simulated ferret hunting and birds of prey flight displays will be complemented by musical performances and the awards ceremony for the dog contest.
On Sunday, September 27th, the day will start early with a Hiking Route “Senderos de Granada” and the Clay Pigeon Shooting competition, “XXIII Julio Martínez Memorial,” at the Iznalloz Shooting Range. The day's program includes simulated ferret hunting exhibitions, birds of prey flight displays, and a demonstration by the Iznalloz Firefighters. The day will conclude with the trophy awards ceremony and the closing ceremony of the fair at 6:30 PM.
The mayor of Iznalloz, Carlos Romero López, highlighted the fair's importance as "the most important showcase we have to show everything we are," and emphasized the event's impact on the municipality, which receives a greater number of visitors and can showcase its traditions and natural environment. He thanked the work of Nacho, a fundamental piece in the fair's growth.
