Party representatives have presented a detailed overview of the investments executed and committed by the regional administration in the city. These actions aim to transform Adra and address long-standing local demands.
“"Water investments have been a hallmark of an Andalusian Government, with important actions such as the wastewater treatment plants executed and underway, the Benínar canal, and the restoration of the Adra River, which provides security to the city."
The largest volume of investment, exceeding 17 million euros, has been concentrated in the Agriculture and Water sector. This includes projects such as the wastewater collection and treatment in La Alcazaba and Guainos Bajos, the second phase of the Adra River regeneration, and aid for agricultural holdings and young farmers. In Environment, over 1.7 million euros have been allocated for the construction of a Clean Point and the improvement of the Albuferas de Adra natural reserve.
The transformation of the Port of Adra has received over 11 million euros, with actions such as the pedestrian walkway over the breakwater, intervention in the El Saladero plot, improvements to the Fishing Port, the Gourmet Pier, new fishing warehouses, and the repair of the Poniente dike.
In the social sphere, nearly 15 million euros have been mobilized for the protection of people and the strengthening of the social safety net, including the renovation of the Active Participation Center. Investment in Education exceeds 6 million euros, with actions in centers such as CEIP Nueva Andalucía-La Curva and CEIP Mare Nostrum. In Employment, Commerce, and Self-Employment, 2.6 million euros have been allocated to job placement and training programs, benefiting over 200 people.
“"Compared to previous periods marked by inertia and lack of response, today Adra has an Andalusian Government that believes in its potential, supports its productive fabric, and invests in all strategic areas of the city."
