The town of Vícar hosted two intense days of men's handball with the celebration of the final four of the Second National League. The host team, CD Agrinova BM Vícar, demonstrated its strength by overcoming its rivals and claiming the title.
The final phase began on Saturday with the semifinals. The local team faced Córdoba de Balonmano in a very close match that ended with a score of 31-28. Subsequently, BM Ciudad de Granada defeated Sano Antequera BM Torcal with a convincing 30-19, securing their place in the grand final.
The battle for the medals was marked by tension and excitement. In the bronze medal match, Sano Antequera BM Torcal recovered from their previous defeat and beat Córdoba de Balonmano 32-26, securing third place. The grand final, between Agrinova Vícar and Ciudad de Granada, kept the fans on edge until the last moment, with the team from Almería winning by a narrow 25-23.
The Andalusian Handball Federation congratulated the four participating teams for the talent and spectacle offered. They also thanked CD Agrinova Vícar and the Vícar City Council for the excellent organization of the event, as well as all the entities and sponsors who contributed to its success.
