“"Hello fans, I wanted to thank you for the outpouring of affection that undoubtedly touches my heart. Yesterday, accompanied by my son, family, teammates, and a packed stadium, I felt like a very fortunate man, knowing that we are fighting for a common dream and with the certainty that together we are invincible. Now it's my turn to recover so I can experience moments like yesterday's again, with this feeling being my greatest strength for my return. Thank you very much. Together we will achieve it."

Málaga CF midfielder Juanpe is awaiting medical tests after sustaining an injury during last weekend's match against UD Las Palmas, which has kept him out of the first training session of the week.
The team, led by Juanfran Funes, has commenced a new week of preparation, focusing on the upcoming regional derby against UD Almería, a crucial fixture for their direct promotion aspirations. The initial session was dedicated to physical recovery, while substitutes and non-selected players trained normally.
The main news from the training session, held at Anexo I de La Rosaleda, was the absence of Juanpe. The player was forced to leave the field unexpectedly during Saturday's match against UD Las Palmas. The extent of his injury is still unknown, as he is awaiting the corresponding medical tests.
This potential absence exacerbates injury problems in the midfield, an area where Funes has already faced difficulties. In addition to Juanpe, Dani Lorenzo and David Larrubia also did not train with the group, instead performing specific exercises in the gym alongside long-term injured players, Álex Pastor and Luismi Sánchez. The club continues to work on the recovery of several members of the white-and-blue squad.
Despite the victory against Las Palmas, Juanpe's injury has been the negative highlight. The Jerez-born player felt a sharp pinch while challenging for the ball, leading to his tearful substitution. It is estimated that he could be out for several weeks. Through his social media, Juanpe expressed his gratitude for the support received, highlighting the encouragement from his teammates and fans.
