During the event held this Thursday in Málaga, Abascal criticized Moreno for governing Andalucía with policies that, in his view, are indistinguishable from those of the socialists. At a notable point in his speech, he disparagingly referred to the Andalusian president as «Juanma Moruno», aiming to portray him as a leader detached from the principles he claims to represent.
“"While we have Juanma Moreno claiming Blas Infante and saying he has a heart this big for everyone to come, while we have Juanma Moreno watching time pass like the Puerta de Alcalá, well, we have the socialist mafia advancing."
The Vox leader also focused part of his speech on immigration, accusing Moreno of «promoting the invasion» and linking the arrival of immigrants to increased housing costs, the deterioration of public healthcare, and a rise in citizen insecurity. He criticized Moreno's stance that Andalucía can «welcome everyone».
For his part, Manuel Gavira, Vox candidate in Andalucía, echoed the attacks, directing his criticisms at both Juanma Moreno and the First Vice President and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero. Gavira described Montero as «Sánchez's last contempt for Andalucía» and linked her to PSOE scandals, recalling her as «the Minister of Finance of the ERE case».
“"She was the Minister of Finance of the ERE case."
Gavira intensified his accusations against Montero, describing her as «the Minister of Finance of the pimps, of Koldo, of Ábalos, of Cerdán», and held her responsible for politically supporting separatism by «paying the blackmail to Puigdemont and his gang of separatists». He also criticized Moreno, accusing him of a «permanent scam» and of prolonging socialist policies in Andalucía, including maintaining «socialist cronyism» and the deterioration of public services.
