The operator has established an alternative transport plan that includes buses between Antequera-Santa Ana and Malaga, as well as intermediate stops. This measure aims to ensure traveler mobility during the construction period.
The changes will also affect two trains on May 21 departing from Seville (6:34 PM and 8:12 PM) and return trains on June 9 from Malaga (7:02 AM and 9:16 AM), which will also require transfers.
For journeys between Bobadilla and El Chorro-Caminito del Rey, taxis will be used with special routes adapted to the passenger's origin and destination. Renfe reminds passengers of the need to purchase or formalize their ticket before traveling and has enabled free changes and refunds as a post-sale measure.
The local services Malaga-El Chorro Caminito del Rey and the C-2 Malaga-Álora Commuter Line will also be affected, with road transport between Cártama and Álora, from May 22 to June 8. The early morning services on June 9 for the C-2 will also be modified.
The company is actively informing users about these changes through its website, social media, Cercanías app, WhatsApp channel, signage, and station public address systems.
