Representatives from the coalition, including the coordinator of IU Andalucía, joined protests in Málaga's Plaza de la Constitución. Early childhood education workers (0-3 years) are demanding fair working conditions and denouncing the lack of investment in this sector.
The political group has criticized the Andalusian Government for, in their view, having "given up 120 million euros" allocated to public early childhood education, which, they claim, contributes to the precariousness of professionals in the sector.
“"Early childhood education from zero to three years is fundamental, but it is the most mistreated. Faced with more precariousness, worse service, and greater inequality, we advocate for understanding early childhood education as a right."
Por Andalucía pledges to secure the necessary funding to reduce ratios, guarantee an educational pair in classrooms, and provide specialized resources to address the diversity of students in Andalusia.
The provincial coordinator of the party in Málaga emphasized that education should not be a privilege but a right, and that the mobilizations aim to defend both children's right to dignified education and families' right to work-life balance, as well as workers' right to fair labor conditions.
