The Popular Party of Málaga has launched its electoral campaign in Alhaurín de la Torre, at an event attended by the president of the Málaga popular party and the deputy secretary for Autonomous, Local, and Electoral Analysis Coordination of the PP. During the event, the candidate, number two on the PP list, criticized the socialist leader's visit to Málaga, labeling it "electoral tourism".
The popular candidate urged the socialist leader to "apologize for the three months without AVE, for the saturation of the Cercanías, for the rejection of the auditorium, and for the constant disregard for the people of Málaga." She also noted that the socialists "come to ask for votes from the presidents who have most privileged Catalonia."
“"Those who took money from the unemployed with fraudulent EREs cannot come to demonstrate on Labor Day."
Furthermore, she questioned the central Government's housing promises and defended the Junta de Andalucía's housing management, highlighting a fourfold increase in VPO creation and a tripled budget for housing policies in the province of Málaga. She criticized the State Housing Law for "protecting squatters and reducing supply due to the legal uncertainty generated for owners."
In the healthcare sector, the candidate defended the Junta's budget increase, from 9,000 million with the previous government to 16,200 million, and the rise in healthcare professionals. She praised the boost to infrastructure, such as the new hospital and the opening of another public center, in contrast to what she considers a "dismantling of public services" by the socialist leader in the past.
The president of Málaga's PP stated that the Socialist Party "uses the province and the towns of Guadalhorce as mere scenery to counter-campaign" and asserted the stability of the Junta's Government, with seven budgets and seven tax cuts. She contrasted the 4,500 million allocated to the province since 2019 with the 6,300 million collected by the central Government in 2025 "with zero investments."
