The Automobile and Fashion Museum of Malaga (MAM) is launching its Fashion Month with a series of panel discussions, commemorating its 15th anniversary and bringing together experts to analyze the present and future of the industry from various perspectives.

The program, part of the fifth edition of the MAM Fashion Forum, aims to establish Malaga as a crucial hub for emerging talent and established figures in the sector. The sessions will take place in the museum's ‘Motores’ gallery at 5:30 PM, with free admission upon reservation through the official museum website.
The cycle begins on April 8 with the ‘Cara a Cara’ (Face to Face) panel, featuring designer Ernesto Naranjo and creator Pilar Dalbat. Both contemporary Spanish fashion icons will share their insights on the creative process, brand identity, and industry challenges. The discussion will be moderated by Pepa Bueno, director of the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain (ACME).
On April 10, designer Jesús Segado, affiliated with the Málaga de Moda brand, will lead the ‘Hablamos con…’ (We Talk With…) panel. Segado, known for his bespoke designs and appreciation for tradition, will engage in a close conversation with Rocío Linares, discussing his professional journey, industry vision, and the value of craftsmanship in an increasingly globalized context.
Sustainability will be the focus on April 15 with ‘La 2ª vida de piezas extraordinarias’ (The 2nd Life of Extraordinary Pieces), presented by María Francés, a specialist in sustainable fashion. Her talk will explore the transformation of garments and objects, promoting responsible consumption and the circular economy within the industry.
Finally, on April 16, historian Carlos Sánchez de Medina will conclude the cycle with ‘La historia de la moda en 10 vestidos’ (The History of Fashion in 10 Dresses). This journey through iconic pieces from the MAM’s private collection will highlight the aesthetic and social evolution of fashion, emphasizing its role as a cultural reflection of each era.
The MAM Fashion Forum is organized by the Automobile and Fashion Museum of Malaga and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior of the Junta de Andalucía, Málaga de Moda (a brand of the Provincial Council of Malaga), City of Malaga, Maserati, among other collaborators.
