Aiming to improve citizen mobility and encourage the use of public transport during this cultural event, the subway has adjusted its schedule. From 6:00 PM until 11:30 PM, trains will run every 7 minutes, improving upon the usual 8-minute and 15-second interval.
Subsequently, from 11:30 PM until the service ends at 1:30 AM, the frequency will be set at 9 minutes and 30 seconds. This measure aims to avoid traffic congestion in central Malaga and allow attendees to enjoy the more than 150 scheduled activities with greater ease.
“"We recommend using public transport to avoid traffic and enjoy the night with more peace of mind."
The metro service maintains its current fares until December 31, 2026. Users can choose from various payment options, such as single tickets or wallet cards and Transport Consortium cards, which offer progressive discounts based on the number of trips taken.
