The city of Málaga has welcomed August with the start of its anticipated Fair, which has transformed the Historic Center into the epicenter of the celebration. Despite the high temperatures, which have become a focal point, the streets have filled with locals and visitors to enjoy the festivities.
Following the pilgrimage, the festive atmosphere has grown, filling the streets with polka dots, flowers, and a spirit of celebration. Families and visitors have gathered at key points such as Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza de la Merced, and Calle Larios, rediscovering the city with each edition of the fair.
The music of the verdiales has set the rhythm for the day, with traditional groups offering their characteristic sound along the main street. Participants express the importance of keeping this Málaga tradition alive.
The Fair, which is expected to be intense, has just begun and will extend with nights at the Real del Cortijo de Torres, inviting attendees to maintain their energy for the coming days of music, gatherings, and dancing.
