The city of Málaga celebrates its Fair this Monday, August 17, with activities spread across the Historic Center and the Cortijo de Torres. The festivities will extend until next Saturday, August 22.
In the Historic Center, the Plaza de la Constitución will host performances by Encarni Navarro and María Cortés. Calle Marqués de Larios will be the stage for the Verdiales Festival with the pandas Raíces de Almogía and Manolo Reina. The Escenario Folclore Popular Malagueño will feature the Coro Aires de Moscatel and dance academies. The Peña Juan Breva will offer flamenco with Bonela and José Fernández, followed by the group "Malagueñas". The Plaza de la Merced will host the Magical Fair "From Earth to the Moon. 30th Anniversary" with games, workshops, and theater.
The La Malagueta Bullring will host a bullfight in homage to Málaga C.F., featuring bulls from Juan Pedro Domecq for Sebastián Castella, Daniel Luque, and David de Miranda.
At the Fairgrounds (Real de la Feria), the Procession of Carriages and Horses will tour the grounds. The Municipal Caseta of Flamenco and Copla will feature performances by Ana Fargas, Javier Jimeno, and the group "Fandangos" in the afternoon, and in the evening, Alejandro Estrada, Ángel Vera, Sergio Pérez "El Cindindi", and Raúl Palomo. The Equestrian Exhibition Center will present the show "El compás ecuestre de Málaga". The Municipal Children's Caseta will offer the magic show "Magia y chalauras" by Mago Luigi.
The Avenida de las Malagueñas will be the venue for the election of the Queen and Mister of the 2026 Fair, organized by the Malagueña Federation of Peñas, Cultural Centers, and Regional Houses, with guest artists including the Hermanos Ortigosa and Patricia Gavilán. The Verdiales Caseta will feature the pandas from Almogía and 1ª de los Montes. The Explanada de la Juventud will host DJ Manuel Pallarés.
