After achieving promotion on June 20, the club is working intensely on shaping the squad. The sports management is looking to strengthen key positions, including a left-back, a center-back, and a forward, while managing potential departures of players with less prominence.
The team has scheduled its first friendly match for July 25 at the Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, where they will face Leicester City. This match will serve as a first high-level test for the team before the start of the national competition.
Currently, the club has 22 professional slots filled. Sports planning remains open until the market closes on September 1, allowing room for the necessary additions to ensure competitiveness in the top flight after an eight-year absence.
