The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, and Navigation of Malaga has held a new session of its Executive Committee at the facilities of the Port Authority of Malaga. The objective is to bring the institution's activities closer to the territory and maintain direct contact with the various sectors that make up the province's business fabric.
The meeting, led by the Chamber's president, José Carlos Escribano, included the participation of the presidents of the various Chamber Commissions and institutional leaders. Afterwards, a meeting with entrepreneurs took place, also attended by the president of the Port Authority of Malaga, Carlos Rubio Basabe, who highlighted the "close collaboration that the Port of Malaga has maintained for years with the Chamber of Commerce to boost the export activity".
During the meeting, the main services and programs offered by the Malaga Chamber of Commerce were presented in areas such as foreign trade, tourism, employment, training, entrepreneurship, and competitiveness. The event facilitated direct dialogue with business leaders to understand their needs and concerns, reinforcing the Chamber's commitment to being present in the economic activity spaces of the province.
José Carlos Escribano emphasized the strategic importance of the Port of Malaga for the provincial economy and the need to foster collaboration between companies, institutions, and stakeholders linked to port activities. He stressed that the Chamber's provincialization strategy involves being present where economic activity occurs and working together to be an "increasingly accessible and useful" institution.

Following the meeting with entrepreneurs, Chamber members toured the Container and Vehicle Terminal, managed by Noatum Terminal Malaga, gaining firsthand knowledge of the facilities and operations. This session, held outside its usual headquarters, reaffirms the Malaga Chamber of Commerce's commitment to being a close, open, and connected institution with the territory.
