After several days with temperatures close to 30 degrees Celsius, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast a radical shift in the weather for Málaga. Precipitation and cooler conditions are expected, marking the end of an unusually warm period for the season.
For Friday, the probability of rain in the city of Málaga will soar, reaching 100% between 06:00 and 12:00 hours, and remaining high throughout the rest of the day. Irregular showers and the possibility of thunderstorms are anticipated in various areas. Temperatures will drop significantly, ranging between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius.
The instability will persist through Saturday, with a high probability of precipitation, especially during the first half of the day. However, by Sunday, the outlook will change completely, with a 0% chance of rain and the return of sunny intervals. Both maximum and minimum temperatures will also vary, ranging from 14 to 20 degrees Celsius on Saturday, and between 12 and 22 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
The rain and storms will not be limited to the capital but will extend to other areas of the province, such as Axarquía, Vélez-Málaga, the Serranía de Ronda, and the Valle del Guadalhorce, where a wet weekend is also expected.
The beginning of next week, Monday and Tuesday, will bring more stable and pleasant weather, with alternating clouds and sun and mild temperatures, more typical of a settled spring. Nevertheless, instability could return by Wednesday, with variable skies and possible rain, although temperatures will remain pleasant.
