The future Rosaleda, set to host Málaga CF from 2032, is designed as a multifunctional venue with a capacity for 55,000 spectators, aiming for year-round profitability.

Malaga is preparing for the construction of a new stadium, named La Nueva Rosaleda, which will host Málaga CF. This modern venue, with a projected capacity of 55,000 spectators and scheduled to open in 2032, aims to be much more than just a sports facility. The goal is to transform it into a multifunctional and economically viable space throughout the year, extending its activity beyond match days.
The choice of location, in the expansion area of the University of Malaga, is based on several key factors. It boasts excellent connectivity, with access to public transport such as the metro and buses, and greater parking availability compared to the current Martiricos stadium. Furthermore, the area is undergoing significant development, offering potential for future growth alongside the new stadium.
The estimated investment for construction is 414 million euros. To ensure the long-term sustainability of this investment, La Nueva Rosaleda's design incorporates a wide range of activities. It will feature spaces for conferences, business meetings, sports clinics, a business incubator, and VIP areas, in addition to hosting major concerts and top-tier events, positioning Malaga on the national and international circuit for large-scale entertainment.
The chosen location also facilitates the organization of large events, as its immediate surroundings do not have a high concentration of housing, thereby minimizing noise impact. The developers intend for the venue to be active 365 days a year, generating consistent revenue and consolidating the public-private investment. La Nueva Rosaleda is envisioned as a major hub of activity for the city, integrating sports, culture, business, and entertainment.
