The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, and Navigation of Malaga received the visit of the ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Spain, Masudur Rahman. The meeting is part of the chamber institution's relations with the Asian country and its commitment to bringing business and investment opportunities in international markets closer to Malaga companies.
The meeting was led by the vice-president of the Malaga Chamber of Commerce, Paloma Moreno, accompanied by the Foreign Trade and Internationalization team. Also participating were Minister Deen Imadul Hoque and the First Secretary and Acting Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Bangladesh, Mahid Al Hassan, along with a broad representation from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Bangladesh.
Both parties expressed their interest in strengthening economic and commercial relations and fostering greater mutual understanding between their respective business communities. The Malaga Chamber reiterated its willingness to facilitate meeting and connection spaces to identify opportunities and establish new avenues for collaboration.
During the meeting, two presentations were held. The Malaga Chamber of Commerce presented commercial opportunities and the economic environment of Malaga, highlighting the characteristics and capabilities of the province's business sector. For its part, the Bangladesh delegation showcased the business and investment opportunities offered by the country, as well as collaboration possibilities for interested companies.

These types of meetings are part of the Chamber's internationalization strategy, which aims to bring new markets closer to Malaga's business community, especially SMEs, and foster contact generation for future commercial relationships and cooperation projects.
The Chamber of Commerce of Malaga and the representation of Bangladesh agreed on the convenience of continuing these institutional and business contacts to identify areas of common interest and deepen collaboration opportunities.
