The literary event, held between April 30 and May 10, exceeded initial expectations despite having one day less than the 2025 edition. Organizers highlight that, in addition to the commercial success with 43,000 books sold, participation in scheduled activities and presentations grew by 50%.
This year's edition consolidated its commitment to quality and diversity, combining international authors with prominent national figures. The inclusion of the Eduardo Ocón Auditorium as a main venue was key to boosting the cultural offering and providing a more immersive experience for attendees.
“"Malaga has shown that there is a huge desire for literature when it is presented as a shared experience."
Aiming to regain its position as a national literary benchmark, the fair set up 71 stands at the Paseo del Parque, the highest number in its history. This growth was made possible by an increase in participating publishers and bookstores, as well as greater support through private sponsorships, which raised the budget to 190,000 euros.
