Additionally, 70 partial scholarships were granted, providing 2,200 euros towards the total cost, with a further 200 euros contribution from Aston Herencia. Twenty-five places were also made available at a reduced price for those who did not receive a scholarship.
More than 300 young people from across Spain participated in this year's call. The trip is scheduled from August 23rd to September 14th, with destinations including Utah, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, and Georgia.
The USA Scholarships Fundación Unicaja program, with over three decades of history, offers a three-week stay in American cities. Participants live with host families and attend classes in public schools. Selection is based on academic records (80%) and language proficiency and motivation, assessed through a personal interview.
Since 1989, Fundación Unicaja, in partnership with Aston Herencia, has promoted English language learning through this project, aligning with its commitment to the comprehensive development of young people. Since its inception, the USA Scholarships Fundación Unicaja have enabled over 3,000 young individuals to study in destinations such as Boston, Chicago, Indiana, Washington, New York, Maryland, and Indianapolis.
