During his appearance on the show, Fran Perea, originally from Málaga, shared with David Broncano the surprising popularity that the series Los Serrano achieved in Finland. This unexpected fame allowed him to participate in a police procedural television production in the Nordic country.
“"I've spent five years filming a nordic-noir series in Finland."
The series, titled Kosta, is set in Málaga, a place that, according to Perea, hosts the largest Finnish community outside of Finland. In this production, the actor plays a Spanish police officer investigating crimes on the Costa del Sol, having participated in three seasons.
In addition to his international experience, Perea used the interview to promote his current projects. These include the release of his new album, El hombre invisible, whose tour began in March and will make a stop in Málaga on April 24 at the París 15 venue. He also mentioned his involvement in the play El efecto, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday at the Teatro Marquina in Madrid, sharing the stage with Alicia Borrachero, Elena Rivera, and Itzan Escamilla.
In a lighthearted moment during the program, when faced with Broncano's usual personal questions, Perea joked about his lack of time due to his busy schedule. He concluded his segment by performing 'Nos volveremos a ver', one of the songs from his recent album.
At the beginning of the show, Fran Perea referenced Málaga, highlighting the popular rum and raisin ice cream and mentioning Casa Mira, a well-known ice cream parlor in the city. As a gift for Broncano, he brought green gardener overalls, intending to use them as a green screen, although the original idea could not be fully executed.
