The countdown to the highly anticipated return of Málaga CF to the top tier of Spanish football has ended. The blue and white squad completed its final training session on Sunday on the pitch of La Rosaleda, the venue that will host the match against Deportivo de A Coruña this Monday. This game marks the team's return to Primera División after an eight-season absence.
The squad trained from 9:15 AM under the guidance of Juanfran Funes, who used the session to finalize the match plan and review specific tactical and strategic concepts for the second matchday of LALIGA Ea Sports. The technical staff had all available players, except for Aaron Ochoa, Niño, Calero, Moussa, and Murillo, who are continuing with their recovery processes.
La Rosaleda will once again host a Primera División match this Monday starting at 9:30 PM. The stadium, also known as Martiricos, regains its status in the elite of Spanish football, a special moment for the Málaga fanbase who have waited eight years to experience this again.
With the final session completed, the team is ready for their home debut in the top flight. Expectations are high for a match that promises strong emotions in a stadium that is once again dressed for the occasion.
