At the 'Un paso al frente. Por Andalucía' event held in Seville, ministers from the left-wing coalition severely criticized the healthcare model implemented by the Andalusian Government. They denounced the outsourcing and privatization of services, particularly in sensitive areas such as breast cancer screenings.
“"Damned be those who, once they have outsourced and harmed the lives of women awaiting breast cancer screening, have also lied and insulted them."
The Minister of Health emphasized that public health and cancer screenings are “sacred,” identifying as adversaries those who “cut and precarious” these services. She compared the Andalusian president's policies to those of other political figures, suggesting a radicalization of the right.
Another minister defended the left's stance on protecting workers' interests and advocated for social advances such as wage increases and the restoration of universal healthcare. He also addressed the housing situation, mentioning the vote in the Congress of Deputies on the extension of rental contracts affecting thousands of Andalusians.
A third minister urged to “unmask” the policies of the Andalusian Government, describing them as “profoundly radical” due to cuts in health and education, the promotion of private universities, and the lack of intervention in the housing market. He highlighted the importance of upcoming elections to reverse these policies.
The coalition's candidate for Cádiz concluded the event by stating that “the future is not written, it is yet to be decided” and advocated for an inclusive and dignified Andalusia against policies of hatred and inequality.
