The Biomedical Research Institute of Malaga and Nanomedicine Platform (IBIMA Platform BIONAND) recently received a check for 16,190 euros. These funds will be exclusively dedicated to financing research projects in the field of biomedicine.
The amount was raised during the 4th HRUM-IBIMA Platform BIONAND Solidarity Football 7 Tournament. This initiative was supported by the Provincial Council of Malaga and involved 16 teams. These teams comprised healthcare professionals, researchers, university students, patient associations, members of security forces and bodies, as well as social entities and collaborating companies.
The champion team of the tournament, Hospital Regional Gestión y Servicios, symbolically presented the check. The ceremony took place at the Regional University Hospital of Malaga.
