Since early Monday morning, the council has been working intensively to repair a breakdown detected at the Los Caracolillos well, one of the fundamental infrastructures of the municipal water supply network. The incident primarily affects the areas of La Alquería, Arroyo Hondo, and Lauro Golf.
The Municipal Water Service has implemented the established protocols for these types of situations to minimize potential disruptions and ensure supply while repairs are carried out. It is estimated that the work could extend for several days.
To maintain service in the affected areas, the City Council has reorganized the supply network, providing water from the Pinos de Alhaurín well. Municipal technicians and specialized personnel are already dedicated to restoring the normal operation of the system as soon as possible.
The council reminds that last year, service was restored within 48 hours after a similar breakdown. However, on this occasion, they warn that repair work could take several days, depending on its progress.
Given this situation, the City Council has requested the cooperation of residents in La Alquería, Arroyo Hondo, and Lauro Golf to moderate their water consumption in the coming hours. The main recommendation is to avoid non-essential uses while repair tasks are ongoing.
This measure aims to facilitate service maintenance and reduce the risk of occasional disruptions in the supply network during technical work.
Although the Municipal Water Service is working to prevent it, the City Council warns that occasional supply disruptions may occur, such as pressure drops or temporary service interruptions at certain times.
The council regrets any inconvenience this breakdown may cause and thanks the public for their cooperation while the necessary work to resolve the incident is carried out.
The Alhaurín de la Torre City Council will provide information on any relevant updates through its official channels. In the meantime, the main recommendation for residents in the affected areas is to use water responsibly until the normal operation of the Los Caracolillos well is restored.
