The three musical talents were selected by a professional jury from over one hundred and sixty submitted proposals. As part of their prize, each winner will also receive a professional quality video to promote their artistic projects.
The concert will open at 7:00 PM with a performance by Ella Ray, a folk and country singer-songwriter with roots in Málaga. She will present songs from her debut album, Wildfire, accompanied by a five-piece band. Following this, the Edu Cabello Sextet will present their project Ventanas, a fusion of contemporary jazz, hip hop, free improvisation, and spoken poetry, born from a tour in China.
The event will conclude with Alicia Tamariz, who will offer a musical dialogue titled Entre notas y naipes. Her original songs, blending jazz and popular music, are interwoven with string arrangements to explore the philosophy of art from Los 7 Velos, created by the magician Juan Tamariz, the artist's father.

The Escucha Málaga initiative, celebrating its second edition in 2026, aims to promote and disseminate original music created in the province. The essential condition for participation was that proposals had to be original creations by artists linked to the province of Málaga by birth, residency, or training. 60% of the proposals came from artists born in Málaga, while the remaining 40% were residents linked to the province.
A total of 162 musical groups and soloists were evaluated by a jury composed of four industry professionals. The winners will receive 2,000 euros as a fee for their performance and a high-quality professional video of their act, lasting between 10 and 12 minutes, which represents a valuable promotional tool for artists in today's music landscape.
