The candidacy, comprising 21 individuals including main and substitute members, was presented at a party event in the provincial capital, attended by approximately one hundred militants. The list is headed by a party representative.
According to the party, the list includes 17 main candidates and four substitutes, with geographical representation covering all regions of the province. The candidates' profiles are diverse, encompassing public and private sector employees, self-employed individuals, farmers, and those involved in social activism, as well as members of vulnerable groups.
“"We will run a beautiful campaign, because we are living in very ugly times."
Adelante Andalucía has expressed its ambition to achieve Andalusian nationalist representation for Málaga in the Andalusian Parliament, a goal that, according to their analyses, has “high probabilities” of materializing based on polls and demographic studies.
During the event, the lead candidate asserted the party's role as “a beacon in dark times” and encouraged militants to combat “despair.” He also emphasized the importance of addressing issues such as access to housing, job insecurity, and the economic difficulties faced by many families.
The candidate stated that they face the coming weeks “with the wind in their favor,” but stressed the need to continue mobilizing the electorate and combating abstention, insisting that “we must continue to convince and show that there is another way.”
The second candidate on the list, originally from Nerja, argued that Adelante Andalucía is “the only project capable of improving the lives” of citizens and expressed her excitement about being part of the candidacy. Meanwhile, the third candidate, a Secondary school teacher in Coín, highlighted public education as a “great social elevator” and criticized the “dramatic conditions” of Andalusian educational centers, advocating for halting what he considers a privatizing model.
