A new firearm incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, April 17, 2026, in the Palma-Palmilla area. This event brings the total to three shootings recorded in Málaga capital within a single week, as confirmed by police sources to Europa Press.
Regarding the latest shooting, an investigation is underway. Bullet impacts have been found on a building wall, though fortunately, no injuries have been reported. This incident follows another that took place just hours earlier in the La Trinidad neighborhood.
The National Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred last Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the La Trinidad area. Following several calls reporting detonations between Jaboneros and Pizarro streets, a large police operation was deployed. As with the other cases, no injuries were recorded.
The first incident in this series happened in the early morning of Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Plaza Bravo, around 04:50 AM. In this incident, there were also no reported injuries or bullet impacts on homes, although ballistic evidence was found and collected during the ocular inspection.
