This project, financially supported by the Provincial Council's Invest 2025 Plan, aims to continue the modernization of urban infrastructure initiated in recent years. The work covers various key areas of the town, including the ring road, neighborhoods, and the industrial estate.
“"With the tender for this second phase, we are taking a decisive step to continue transforming our streets and responding to the real needs of our residents. This is one of the largest investments in paving made in our city, demonstrating the firm commitment of this government team to the continuous improvement of urban infrastructure."
The works will be distributed across three strategic points. The first intervention area will be the El Silo neighborhood, where 17,200 square meters will be paved on streets such as Conquista, Torrecampo, Pedroche, Cardeña, Hinojosa del Duque, Doctor Luis Felipe Cazalla, Juan del Rey Calero, Rosa Chacel, Concepción Arenal, Rosalía de Castro, and El Silo Avenue itself.
The second area of action will focus on the Fairground Roundabout and several ring road arteries, following the completion of ongoing sanitation works. Streets such as San José de Calasanz, Hilandos, and Santa Rita will also be improved, in addition to the Los Llanos and Plaza de Toros ring roads, totaling 17,000 square meters of road enhancement.
Finally, the Dehesa Boyal I industrial estate will be the third major zone, with a comprehensive intervention on its First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth streets, reaching 19,850 square meters of new paving. This action aims to optimize spaces for local economic activity.
“"Our objective is clear: to continue building a more modern, accessible, and future-ready Pozoblanco, with infrastructures that meet the needs of our residents and the business community. These types of investments not only improve the city's image but also have a direct impact on the quality of life and the economic development of the municipality."
