The activities will begin on July 30th with the small-format show «El fantasma de Canterville» (The Canterville Ghost), by Cia. Escena Trece. This production uses puppets made from recycled materials and is designed for families to share values such as friendship, respect, and tolerance.
On August 4th, the company Antonio Campos will present «El Buscón», a one-person theater play inspired by the famous picaresque novel by Francisco de Quevedo. The actor will portray over 30 characters under the direction and adaptation of Juanma Cifuentes.
Copla music will have its space on August 6th with «Entre coplas y cuerdas» (Between Coplas and Strings), featuring Niña de Espejo, who will offer a fusion of copla, flamenco, and recital.
On August 7th, the theatrical comedy «El soldado fanfarrón» (The Braggart Soldier) by MDM Producciones will be performed. Based on the classic work by Plautus, it narrates the amusing adventures of an arrogant and vain soldier who falls into the traps of ingenious servants.
To conclude the program, on August 10th, Cia. UNO Teatro will present «Fabuleando» (Fabulando), a children's theater performance aimed at encouraging reading through fun. The plot follows three characters named Iris, Lucas, and Bobby, who recount the famous fables of Master Aesop.
All performances will take place at 10:00 PM next to the Caseta Municipal (Municipal Booth).
