The fire, which originated in the afternoon in a single-family home located on Lepanto Street, in the Moreda area, required the intervention of personnel from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, 061 health services, and Civil Guard agents.
Firefighters from the Iznalloz station managed to extinguish the flames, which originated in the home's kitchen. As a result of the fire, the kitchen and storage room were completely burned, while other areas suffered smoke damage.
During the operation, emergency personnel also successfully rescued two dogs that were inside the house.
Finally, health services transferred the affected individual to the Guadix hospital center for evaluation and medical attention.
