The town of Mojácar, known for its whitewashed houses and attractive tourism, now lends its name to an innovative gastronomic proposal. It is a 100% artisanal ice cream that has generated great anticipation in the region since its recent launch.
The creation of 'Sueño de Mojácar' is the work of a master ice cream maker, responsible for a renowned ice cream parlor in Almería, which has established itself as a benchmark in dessert innovation and artisanal ice cream. This new flavor seeks to offer a different experience to those strolling along the Avenida del Mediterráneo.
“"Ours is real raw material: strawberry ice cream is made with strawberries, granita with freshly squeezed local lemons, and chocolate bars are crushed by ourselves."
The philosophy behind this establishment focuses on tradition, using fresh milk and slow processes, moving away from industrial products. Even seasonal ingredients like cherries are imported from Italy to guarantee the quality of their 24-flavor offering.
Although the creator maintains some mystery about the exact composition of 'Sueño de Mojácar' to encourage tasting, it has been confirmed that pistachio is one of its main components, along with almond, a product deeply rooted in the province of Almería. This ice cream, suitable for coeliacs, joins other successes such as Dubai chocolate, launched in 2026.
In addition to its innovative flavor proposal, the ice cream parlor aims to break with seasonality, remaining open 365 days a year, from morning until midnight, also functioning as a cafeteria. This initiative allows customers, especially foreign residents, to enjoy artisanal ice creams even during winter, taking advantage of the region's favorable climate.
