The incident occurred around 11:44 AM when the two vehicles impacted. Firefighters from the Turre and Níjar stations, along with emergency medical services (061), Civil Guard officers, and Carboneras Civil Protection members, were dispatched to the scene.
Levante firefighters had to perform extrication procedures to free the car's driver, who was trapped within the wreckage and sustained significant injuries.
After being stabilized at the accident site, the injured individual was airlifted to the Torrecárdenas University Hospital for specialized medical attention. The extent of his injuries and his current health status remain unknown.
