Reincidentes, a Sevillian band with nearly four decades of history, will headline the VI edition of the Antas Rock festival this Friday, August 14th. The concert will take place at the Era del Lugar starting at 10:00 PM.
The group, celebrating 39 years of activity since their first concert at the University of Seville, has released 24 albums and performed in thousands of concerts, establishing themselves as a benchmark in Spanish punk-rock. They have collaborated with artists such as Rosendo, el Drogas, Robe Iniesta, and Evaristo, and have set poems by Miguel Hernández to music.
The festival will also feature two local bands. The Band will open the night, a project featuring musicians from Antas and Vera, who will perform covers of groups like Pink Floyd and Dire Straits. The band will dedicate their performance to the memory of Ricardo Sáez, a former member of Sudor Frío.
Closing the festival will be Bajo Cero, another local group whose style blends punk and pop. The performance by this band, composed of brothers Andrés and Gabriel Pérez, Diego Ramírez, and Diego M. Ortiz, will begin after The Band's set.
The music continues on Saturday, August 15th, with a performance by Los Diablos, a Spanish pop group active since 1968, who will present hits like 'Acalorado' and 'Fin de Semana' starting at midnight.
Before Los Diablos, at 10:30 PM, there will be a salsa and bachata exhibition by Grupo Studio and Levántate y baila. The party will continue with Sótano Sur and Dj Miriam Amat.
